Flex or Dynamic Object as Particle in PF

I would appreciate if you can help me with this problem.
I'm on 3dx max 2012. I'm modeling a sthetoscope, which has rubber tube parts, which are flexible. I'm going to put Flex modifier on rubber tube parts to make them flexible under gravity and wind, and also attach metal parts with constrains. The problem that i have is that I can not get that kind of model in to Particle Flow and make it a particle emitted from the source - the PF disassembles the group and also no elasticity is present.
My final results should be number of sthetoscopes flying through the air while camera moves between them. Since they have rubber tube parts they need to have elastic motions to them.
So, any chance of getting a flex or any other dynamic object in Particle Flow as the particle? or is there any other way of achieving the desired result?
