This is probably a really simple question, but I'm not that advanced!
I have a mesh that is irregular and has irregular cutouts (below).
I want the mesh to be coloured differently around the cutouts - I managed it in a previous model by using a Multi-Sub object material, but it was easier to split up that geometry (below) - harder with the geometry I have.
Does anyone have a suggestion as to how I could split the geometry quickly?
Any light anyone could shed on the matter would be so so appreciated!
