you need to model a virtual set on 3d.

And add some lights to transform it on a like photoshoot set.

There is an example how to do it.

You can also render your objects with no background and a floor set to render at Alpha 0. Then in render elements depending on the renderer your using and method of lighting/shadows you should be able to choose a render element to capture ground shadows (direct/soft).
Personally I like to avoid render elements if practical and manually do a second pass with shadow casting objects set to "invisible to camera" but still cast shadows. This way you avoid potential bright edges where object meets ground due to poor render element AA.

When you have the above you can comp it all together with the added advantage that if you don't like a white background you can change it without re-rendering anything!
