Particle View Confusion. Expert needed!

Particle View Confusion. Expert needed!

I'm trying to recreate an effect of cg presents exploding bouncing onto the floor and wall, as seen in this video:





I'm using particle view in 3ds max, with deflectors and other stuff. But the presents just keep bouncing! I have an initial tick that drops from the emitter and collides with the deflector, and then that collision spawns more ticks which i then set to collide with the deflectors of the wall and floor. I also have forces: drag and gravity. I have tried everything to get them to act right, but i can't get them too look right. ANY tips or help would be grateful. This is very advanced.

It would help if you describe why they do not look right.

By the description of the tree it sounds all in order and other than tweaking spinners I cant really recommend anything without knowing the current behaviour.
