Hi, I'm new to 3DS MAX. I want to replace an object with another, but keep all the original attributes of the first one. I've looked all over, can't figure out how. Any suggestions?

Thanks,

To do it properly you have to do it via trackview.

Select both object in the viewport so that they appears in the hierarchy list of the trackview, under the object names will be the parameter trees including one that will look something like +Object(editpoly) or very similar depending on the objects, if you right click this you have a copy/paste option, simply copy the one +Object(editpoly) and paste onto the other.
