Reflective/Specular Maps in 3Ds Max

Hey guys, I'm doing some box modelling in 3Ds map, have UVW unwrapped my model succesfully. I was just wondering, I'm sure I've seen the function in Mat editor somewhere, can I apply a reflective/specular map to my UVW unwrapped mat to set which parts are shiny/reflective and which are matted using a map?
If so do the maps work like bump maps with 50% grey with Black & White or is there a different way of doing it.
