I am brand new to 3ds Max. I would like to embed sound effects in a large 3d scene that I have and then export as an .FLT.
Can anyone point me to a tutorial or instructions about how to do this? I don't want keyframed animation or anything because I'd like all the sound effects to play and be managed independently. Are there such things as audio nodes in 3ds Max that I could just place near my physical objects?
As an example I have a bell tower and when the camera gets close the bell tower I'd like to hear a bell sound.
Finally, if it matters, I will end up loading this scene in Open Scene Graph along with the osgAudio plugin.
