Hello everyone!
I have a little problem that I cannot solve and searching google didn't help.
So I'm trying to start a text object in 3ds max and when i bevel it screws up the D and M. screenshot below. It only happens in this font. But this is my official logo font and I cannot change it. How do I fix this?

This is a common problem in Max, and it varies with each font you use. I've had some luck bringing the outlines back into Illustrator
(if you created it in Illustrator, then imported the file into Max)and checking that all of the nodes are actually connected to each other. Sometimes open paths cause the problem.

Another thing I've had luck with is to simply change the bevel settings slightly, playing around with the depth of initial extrusion, depth of bevel, and even angle of bevel in VERY small increments. You will often see that when you change one of these settings, the problem will pop up in another letter, but often you can hit a setting where everything looks fine.

You can also change the Start Outline (I think that's the term, I don't have Max open)size in tiny increments.

Another thing you can do is convert to polygons with just the outlines, subtract the inner outline from the group, and then
paste it back in. Sometimes that works. Good luck.
