Is there any information circulating around on how the look of Mad world was accomplished? I am currently trying to pull of the same sort of look and feel for a project in 3DS Max. Anyone know where I could get some info on how they made the look and feel?
.... but an easy emulation would be to use an "Ink n Paint" material. Alternatively use a standard material with a "Falloff" in the Diffuse slot, use a Shadow/light whilst in the Mix curve add two points near the centre and move them up and down respectively to get a hard black to white gradient.
