I want the character's shadows on the plane, but not the plane itself.
That part's easy (just use the matte/shadow)
But! I also want the white reflection i get on the character from the white plane when i use mental ray final gather.
Currently i create two files. one with the plane one without. I then use the alpha channel from the file without the plane and place it in the one with the plane. (I lose my ground shadows though) and its annoying. Any ideas?
