how can i make a sphere visible from inside ?

Hi,
I am a new user of 3ds Max and I am trying to create
a backround for my model.
I have created a hemisphere which covers the whole model,
although I dont know how can I make the sphere visible from inside.
Is there any modifier that I can use for this purpose ?

Thanks in advance.

Apply your desired background texture map to the sphere and click the "2-sided" checkbox in the Basic Paramaters rollout of the material editor.

There are a couple of ways. First, you can make the material you are using for the hemisphere a 2 sided layer - that choice is available near the top of the Materials menu - it's a checkbox.
Second, and I'm not in front of the software, so bear with me, is to use the normals modifier and flip the normals. This should make them face inward instead of outward. I hope I'm right on this one, but the first one will definitely work.
