I've just started playing with particles in 3ds max and have run into an issue. I have a basic setup with a plane and deflector laying on top of one another with a particle generator above them. The particle generator emits 3 particles which should bounce once colliding with the deflector BUT I'm getting partial penetration of the deflector. When rendering, my spheres are penetrating the "floor" before they actually bounce.
Some of the tutorials I am following do not appear to have to move the deflector slightly above the plane in order to keep the particle from penetrating the "floor". Am I missing something here?
