I'm new to Max so please forgive this newbie question. I saw it posted elsewhere but with no useful answer so I hope this post will get one.
I have a model in 3DS Max 8 with a texture applied – looks great in Max but when I import to Photoshop CS3 the texture disappears, the model is there but no texture. The one response to the other post said "apply the texture in Photoshop" but isn't there a way of bringing the model in WITH the texture? Is this where 'baking' comes in? Does anyone have a link to a very basic tutorial that explains that – IF that's what I need to do?
