I am very new to 3ds max 2009. I work at a local government tv station.
I do a lot of our graphics. Mine is a bitmap world,not vector.
I am trying to wrap my head around the idea of object "size" in max and their relationship to a "frame" of video.
When I work in aftereffects, photoshop and my nle, I know that my frame
is 720x480(486). And that the aspect ratio is 4:3.
In 3dmax, I can pick to render at 720x480, but when I am working in the viewports, I get very confused. I want to make my objects big enough so I can make fine adjustments, but not so big as to bog down my nle when I import and then edit my 3ds max output. Any thoughts
would be helpful.
