Hi, how would I go about creating something like this using 3ds max?

I know this was made using realflow, but how can i set up an emitter to project water particles into a container, like as is shown.

Thanks in advance for any help.

You would need a fluid simulator plugin such as Real Flow, or Glu 3D. I like the look of Real Flow liquids better than Glu 3D, although I haven't used either. I think Glu 3D is better at flame, smoke, and viscous liquids.

Here are the respective home pages:

It appears that there is also a fluid simulator available for Blender, which is a free 3D package. I don't know whether the simulator is free.

Could anyone pont me in the direction of a good water tutorial for realflow. I have gone about downlaoading and installing a realflow trial. Also, in my opinion, fumefx is a pretty good choice for flames and smoke etc.
