3DS Max 7 Biped 360 Degree Rotation + Curve Tangents

I'm having to use 3DS Max 7 for some character animation I'm doing at the minute. I'm not too great with max at the best of times (i mainly use Maya), and i've got a couple of problems...
How do I rotate a biped 360 degrees (to make a charater flip for example)? The biped only ever wants to rotate the shortest distance, so if i go over 180 degrees it just flips to go the shorter route in the opposite direction.
Also, how can I view and edit curve tangents? In Max 8 I could switch to Euler rotation which would fix this, but the option doesnt seem to be there in version 7.
