On creating a surface to enclose a bunch of objects
on May 30, 2008 at 1:45:30 am

Hi,
Beginner question......
I want to enclose a bunch of objects inside a bag-like surface; by animating the objects inside, I want to animate the surface.
I can do it manually. Is there a simpler way of doing it ?
Thanks in advance.

If I understand you correctly, you want to have the bag move as if the objects are moving inside it.
How about putting a noise modifier on the bag mesh and animating those parameters?
Cheers
Jon

Hi
If you want real wrap effect on that surface.... better try cloth modifier from reactor.
It will simulate almost a real cloth.
