I am attempting to loop a Max supplied running clip, "Jog Loopable MT5949" and when it loops it jumps back to it's original starting position. How can I make the bi-ped continue running away?

You can do this much easier in Character Studio Motion Mlow Mode. Just use it the way it works (except using the same bip in multiple clips) and it will do what you want,
1) open motion flow editor and create 'clips' (which you rit-clik and 'browse' to bip file) just create a few of the same then 2) click on scripts button and new script then click on each clip in succession. it will 'continue' to walk..
then collapse motion by saving the bip flow as a new bip...
