i make an object in 3ds max, apply the material with ray trace. but when i goes to render it. there are few edges of that object means object is hardly visible. but i want that object like crystal or real glass look... how???
what should i do ??? should i use the some renderer or what???
Are you rendering with mental ray? Final gather? Global illumination? There are many parameters to set to get the look right (for insatnce, are you using both a reflection and a refraction map?) but generally, you want to have all the good render settings set if you want to have a nice looking image. Also, the way your lights are set up and the presence of something to reflect can heavily change how your object appears.
