Mental ray glossy reflections in 3ds max 8?

Trying to figure out the ways to create Glossy reflections with Mental ray in 3ds max 8. Using the DGS material I can create the blurred reflections but no way to smooth the result without globally increasing the anti-alias settings. Is there any other way to create blurred raytraced reflections?
