Sorry for the repeated post, since I posted this on Maya Forum as Well.
I'm not a 3D savey guy. My backround is editing and compositing. However a project is coming up that requires realstic looking rain drops (almost see through the liquid look), I know various particle systems does this in some of the composting programs. Well the trick is the rain is static and as soon as a hand of the actress runs through, these drops fall gravitating to the floor. Similar, if not almost the same as the Jet Li movie Hero. Where Jet Li's face runs through the rain drops and they move to the side upon hiting his face.
Also a realstic looking tear drop runing on the cheek of an actress and the falling to ground from top view where the whole thing gives you a slow mo sureal look.
If anyone can point me to any tutorials would be wonderful
Thanking everyone in Advance
