Hi there,

I have a project coming up for a dance company. Looking to animate a simple 3D skeleton with dance steps to music. The steps will loop during the music play, so I am wondering what way would be best to capture this.

Thanks,

Todd

How good of a charater animator are you?

If you aren't to good, find some MoCap data or if you have a lot of money rent a MoCap system and record it yourself.

Todd, I see your in Toronto.
You should contact Seneca College.
They have Weta's old Mo-Cap setup and I'll bet they'll cut you a good
deal on using it.
If your looking for intense up-to-speed Character Animation Classes that will help.
Then You may be in luck. We have 2 seats left in the 3 day Class June 25th, 26th, & 27th
here at Virtual Partners. The Class is being conducted by Seneca College instructors BTW.
See http://www.virtualpartners.com or call me 800-701-7936 and we can talk about it.
