I rendered a 15 sec. animation of a fly-through with abstract lines and raytraced shapes using the default Max renderer. No motion blur was applied to either object(s) or image. I then brought the targa sequence with alpha into After Effects for further compositing. The problem is : final rendered movie is jerky. Is there a way to effectively smooth out the frame jerkiness without using the motion blur option for object/image.

Average time to render WITHOUT motion blur option turned on: 5 min. per frame.
Average time to render WITH motion blur option tunred on: unknown (hours...perhaps)

I'm getting similar problems but I made sure the frame rate was correct and also tried rendering to different codecs. Got rid of the jerkyness but there is still a kind of vibrating or pulsating of certain regions in the render ? what that all about?
