Hi I'm in the process of creating some cables in max, ideally I need a camera to fly down them and track their direction,

the approach I've chosen is to use a spline with renderable mesh activated the only thing is that I would like to make this hollow as to put the camera in

any thoughts???

regards

Apt

Hi Apt.

They are hollow, like any other 3d-geometry in any 3d-application. All you have to do is to asign a 2-sided material to the object. Usualy the backsides of faces won't be rendered, so they will.

To animate the good ol' tunnelfly, just set a free camera on the spline with a pathconstrain controler.

hope it helps
