how to achieve a sketchy look for a shape...
on May 4, 2015 at 1:37:18 pm

hi guys,

just re-watched mark's tutorials on motion shapes.....great stuff. But then I get back to my work and immediatly get stuck...

In my video I use this font:

Kinda sketchy/handdrawn look.
Now, I've build a paint-roller in motion which I would like to have the same kind of look.....less "hard designy" and more cartoon/sketchy
hope my lingo gets you there :)
this is the image I want to give that look (it's build from shapes in motion)

What would be the best way to achieve this? Shape styles or some texturize filter.....or should I build it from scratch.....

hope you guys can help me out. I know the look I want to achieve but lost with how....
thanks!

To define more...

I guess my question is what is the workflow to change the texture of the fill of a shape

Like making a paint splash less solid and more like a real paint splash
