Hi Everyone - I am new to Motion so my question might be a simple one. There is a video intro that I want to achieve and I could use a little help knowing how to replicate it.

This is the video:

Anyone know a good way of adding that light shimmer that goes from right to left on the text? I don't seem to see a behavior like that so maybe it would take more work?

Any help would be appreciated!

-Dan

Thanks Mark! This is exactly what I wanted!

Could I assume then that the rotation of the logo as it comes in at the beginning would best be done by adding various keyframes? Just wondering how to make it spin more then once.

Thanks Mark!

So many ways to make things spin: use keyframes, or the Spin behavior (in Basic Motion) or add a Rate parameter behavior to the Rotation Z parameter. Keyframes are good if you want the spinning to start and/or stop; behaviors are a little better for ongoing animation.

Hey Mark, I started a thread about keyframing and then saw this reply where you mention keyframing.
You wrote "Keyframes are good if you want the spinning to start and/or stop" which is exactly what I am trying to do.
How would you do that?
Wanna look at my thread and the answers (Simon offered a solution.)

Just set keyframes to make it do what you want. Change the interpolation as needed.
