Laurent Gapscreen capture and editing: which software?
by on Apr 26, 2012 at 9:29:48 am

Hi,

I'd like to do a video of my software (presenting the tabs, HMI, etc...). Features I'd like to use are the basic ones: adding titles (with FX), smooth transitions, pan & zoom.

I tried VideoStudio from Corel, Windows Movie Maker, AVS Video Editor. The first one meet my needs better.

Would you recommend me something else?
I don't bother if screen capture is not a feature as I can use Camstudio beside.

Thanks in advance!

Camstudio, do you mean Camtasia?
Are you saying you don't need to do the screencapture, just editing?
Sony Vegas, Premiere Pro maybe.
Maybe their less expensive kin such as Premiere Elements.

Screenflow. Capture and edit inside that one app. I love it.

[Shane Ross] "Screenflow. Capture and edit inside that one app. I love it."

I love it too. It's Mac only though and given the other software he mentions I think he's on Windows.
