Hello All,

We would like to welcome Franklin McMahon to the Business Practices & Marketing forum team. Franklin has been a valued part of the Cow team and has recently helped us launch our Macromedia cluster as well as our popular Digital Photography forum. But Franklin's real passion is business and marketing and we are delighted to have him join the team here.

So, now there's even more gray hair here, guys -- oh, and then there's Timothy.

Best always,

Ron Lindeboom

[Franklin McMahon] "Thanks Ron and hello to ALL!"

Someone that knows how to say things short and to the point. I like that.
Welcome Fanklin.

[Charlie King] "Andy, that's why I could never be a part of the heads in this one, 'No Beard'"

It's true, Andy -- well, at least partly...

Kathlyn and I have met Charlie in person. He once came really close to having one of those Frank Zappa "a bit of hair under the lower lip" beards but I am not sure that really counts in here, does it???

Yep, Charlie still can't grow a beard, even in his fifties. Sad, actually, Andy. But a couple of the strippers we saw there at Charlie and Frank's studio during our last visit to Las Vegas told us he makes up for it by growing a *really* hairy back. Me, I am not sure that that counts either...

But come to think of it, I think that Brooke Shields could qualify in this forum due to those huge eyebrows of hers -- or is it just one eyebrow that extends clear across her forehead???, me I could never tell -- but I tend to think you guys would give her the right hand of fellowship, wouldn't ya???

[Ron Lindeboom] "Yep, Charlie still can't grow a beard, even in his fifties."

Thanx for the age compliment, Ron. Do I really look like I'm only in my 50's?

Turned 63 July 22nd. But you are right I tried once to grow a beard. after 2 months went by, I looked like my face was dirty so I gave up.

Franklin, my partner Frank likes having another Frank around, so again welcome.

Charlie

Ahh...it's OK. We've already got Tim A. and Ron up there looking neat and tidy...we draw the line at mullets here, however.

[Tim Kolb] "...we draw the line at mullets here, however."

Yes, after Billy Ray Cyrus's career nose-dived into the ground following his quirky one-hit-wonder of "Achey, Breakie Heart" (or whatever it was called), he asked to join the Cow team in our once-proposed "Learning to Sell Nothing Fast" forum. I figured we had the right man for the job but Kathlyn said, "No way, look at that mullet, will you?!#@!? We let him in here and next you know, Nick Griffin will have a mullet and then Andy Stinton -- and there will be no end to it! You'll even be sporting a mullet, Ron."

So I did, but she wouldn't let me post anymore and so I had to leave the Cow for a while...

Honest. That's *just* how it happened...

Well. At least this thread is getting down to the real purpose of the Biz Cow .. hosts jabbing at each other.

Welcome, Franklin.

[Nick Griffin] "Well. At least this thread is getting down to the real purpose of the Biz Cow .. hosts jabbing at each other."

"Neat and tidy" was not a jab...I just noticed that I might look a tad scruffy next to some of my fellow hosts. The Foster Brooks school of grooming and etiquette made me the man I am (hick) today.

I guess I'm due for a change to the floating head image...I recently had 28" of hair removed from my head.

I'm still not neat and tidy, but that's an issue of having more stuff than storage.

Cheers,

Frank Otto

Well...I can't change mine fast enough. No matter what people always tell me that "You're considerably more gray than your picture..." At the rate that's going, Kathlyn and Ron would have to changing my pic once a week.

Let's not get into that. I just returned from my 45th High School Class Reunion. As I was going into the building someone was coming out and said you don't want to go in there, it is full of old people.
