I'm just starting to learn to use the Loudness Radar in Audition to prepare a TVC for broadcast (for Australian TV) By adjusting the track levels alone it seems the levels need to be down way too low, ie sound very quiet to remain under -24LKFS. I know its a new standard but seems it shouldn't have to sound so quiet?
Am I missing something? Does anyone have a good workflow for meeting LKFS requirements? I've tried Multiband Compressor, sounds a bit better but still pretty quiet. I realise I maybe talking in pretty basic terms, I'm not an audio guy, obviously! Thanks.

Actually there is something you're missing!! LOL

It sounds to me you're setting you're peaks to -24LUFS not the loudness or average energy.

Check out the very similar post that I made to a very similar thread here...
