Mixing different versions of video
on Jan 19, 2014 at 9:59:19 am

Hi,

I am editing different versions of a 6-minute video in Premiere Pro CC and intend to mix the audio in Audition.
I have two sequences in a Premiere project - one for each version. The two versions are mainly the same, except for changes/additions in the narration in 3 places. Because of the difference in narration, the lengths of the videos are also different.

What would be the best workflow when sending and mixing in Audition such that I can mix one version, then copy what I have done and apply to the second version (that is of different length)? I forsee I may need to do quite a bit of rubber-band on the levels of the interviews, so I don't want to have to manually try to recreate what I've done on the interviews for the 2nd version.

I'd appreciate any suggestions on this.

Thanks.

Regards,

SK
