Trimming multiple clips/samples and exporting
on Aug 5, 2013 at 7:46:22 am

Hi, I'm pretty much a novice at Audition and am trying to make a bunch of sound effects for a video I'm working on.
A lot of the sound effects needed the silence trimmed off the beginnings and ends. I imported all the samples - probably 30 or so and trimmed them one by one. I don't understand how to save them all at once though. I ended up saving as a multitrack where each sample is on a separate track, but how do I save each as a separate file without going through and exporting one by one?

I usually use the one-by-one process, but it's very quick. I select the piece of the sound clip I want, then do Save Selection As. It takes only a matter of seconds to export each piece. Here's a rundown on the process:

ok - I guess I never needed to cut off the beginning and end. Thanks I'll try that.
