I tend to do a lot of transfering audio casettes to digital. I was wondering if there are any standard effects that any of you experts might apply to improve sound quality other than removing some of the noise. I just mean in general cases.

With cassettes and vinyl noise reduction on digitizing is ok, but other effects should be done after digitizing as global effects will effect everything and may need redoing after capture if things don't go smooth.
