Can Soundbooth CS4 be used to reduce the noise of wind in a videoclip?

If you open the file then select Clean Up Noise task, highlight a second or two of the noise alone and click Capture Noise Print. Now highlight/select the entire audio file in the timeline and click on Noise..., Click OK to use the preset settings and see how well it sounds. You can always Undo the alteration and try again.

If that doesn't sound right you can try using the Remove a Sound task and in the lower screen (Spectral Freq. Display) using the Frequency Selection Tool highlight in one of the wave forms from the bottom up to about half way and then play the found for a preview and see if that helps. Alternately you can select the high frequencies and delete them from the wave file. Be sure to save to a different name so you can keep the original file.

Hope this helps
Steve
