Hi

i am new to this here fo-rum, and i had a theoreticla question:

I remeber seeing a demo of the "Spectral Filtering" capabilities of Audition and now Soundbooth, and i was very impressed with the demo where the jet fighter noise was taken out of a clip

I have a guy who is talking in crowd and even the the cam mic was close to him he is still somewhat burried by the other talking (retirement dinner with the guy at a table)

does the spec filter have the ability to isolate just the guys voice?

thanx in advance

You may be able to remove it but it may be at the cost of degrading the audio you want to keep ... I would have to hear a sample ... If you would like you can E-mail a minute or so and then I can tell you if you are out of luck or if you can at least get it to the point that you can live with it ... E-mail a sample to loganonestudio@aol.com ... WILLIE
