Hello all,
I have a narration recording with a problem of sort of chirping noise when an S or Z are pronounced. Is there a filter to correct it?
Thanks

When you record there is a POP filter you use that is a fine meshed material simular to panty hose that is placed in front of the mic ... As far as removing it after it's recorded and keep the integraty of the audio may not be possible ............. WILLIE

Thanks Willie,
I went to a recording studio here and they used a filter (I think it was something like d10 or dx10 - have to check with them again)which cleaned it a bit.

Dan,

Proper diction can be an assest as well ... The critical letters P, S, and in your case Z ... Here is a link for a good affordable Pop filter ....... WILLIE
