HTML Not Working in IE
on Oct 27, 2010 at 5:51:08 am

I'm trying to build a site, http://www.acadianacomputerrepair.com. It looks like it is working great in Firefox, but, as usual, it's snafu in IE. I can't seem to get the title to align to the middle of its div, nor the menu items, for that matter. I have tried every mutation I can think of, for 2 days, now. Can anyone take a look at it and tell me what to do?

hello...

quickest fix is to use a strict doctype:

<!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.01//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/html4/strict.dtd">

instead of your transitional one...but that could introduce other issues...you'd have to debug once you switched to that...
