I need some advice....I want to create movies for my website where the camera rotates around real objects. I have sculptures that i need to show from all angles but i do not know where to start (i am not even sure what these movies are called!)

What software (mac compatible) is most suitable for achieving this?
Anyone know of any tutorials showing how i can create these movies?

any advice appreciated!!

hmm - you can try to use qtvr technology, although that's usually you spinning around and taking a 360 - but i would imagine that a stitching program like this:

might work as it's the same concept - if not, try "360 product stitch" or the likes in google (the key word here being stitch) and you should get some other options too...

If you have not found an answer, Object2vr is a great option. It can combine your images, the trick is still getting the images though.

Fir a single row image, it takes a turntable of some sort to photograph the product at equal rotations and then you need to edit out the backgrounds. For a multi-row you will need a rig that moves the camera in an axis around the product at the same time that the object moves.

360 and 3d product photography
