BCC Deinterlace in Premiere

I want to deinterlace a few clips I am exporting to the web, I am using Premiere CS4 and am trying to make sure I don't make a mistake. There appears to be specific steps in the directions I have read but they are aimed at After Effects. Here is what they state:
Important Note for AE Users: Clips run through this filter must have Separate Fields set to Off in the Interpret Footage dialog. Output rendering must be done with Field Render set to Off as well. Frame Blending should not be enabled. Do these same rules apply to Premiere CS4? Can I just run the filter or should I look for similar commands in the Premiere CS4 interface?

I think the best advice that I can offer is to experiment with a few different settings and see which setting generates the desired result.
