I see they both have keyers but I don't know if they're the same. Is one better than the other?

Thanks,

Hi,

The chroma keyers that are included in BLUE and RED are essentially the same thing. The advantage of using BLUE is of course that it's real time due to the fact that the processing is done on the video card GPU as opposed to the CPU on the motherboard. The advantage of the RED keyer is that there are additional accessories such as the matte choker that assist in cleaning up and refining the matte result. I can only suggest that you download the try and buy versions of both applications and seeing which one works best for your situation.

Cheers,

Peter.
