analog to sdi mini converter audio format question

We are trying to use Blackmagic Design Analog to SDI mini converter with an SDI receiver (PCI card on PC).
We are able to read video frames on the receiver but not able to get audio data.
The SDI receiver assumes audio to be embedded in SDI signal as per SMPTE 272M standard.
Does the blackmagic mini converter support this format?

I'm honestly not sure what 'standard' it is, but the mini converter does embed audio on the SDI signal. We have a couple of the units and it works with other gear we have that works with SDI embedded audio.
I'd ask if there's an audio menu on your capture card that lets you select which source of audio you're using, and also check the mini converter to make sure you're embedding the audio on channels 1+2 in group one of the embedded audio.
