Do I need a model release for a crowd shot

I am working on a internal use corporate video. There is a scene where a man enters an airport and glances over at the ticket line. I want to show a huge crowd. Do I need a model release for everyone in that shot? I have read and heard so many different spins on this question. I am just looking for some clarity.

Thank you.

Generally speaking (I'm NOT a lawyer, however, I've shot one... for TV of course)....

Individuals in a public area with no expectation of privacy do not need to sign a release. That doesn't mean you won't get Aunt Jewel looking straight into the lens in the background. You could certainly get on the next level and shoot down as your guy walks in, then cut to a CU of him looking at the line - then use long lens shots of lines of feet shuffling along. If you can't ID the face, they can't sue you...

Just a thought

Jon
