Hello everyone,

I'm in the market for an inexpensive camera mounted light. I was looking around B&H when I came across some LEDs. Does anyone have any experience with these? If so any particular model recommended? I'm looking at the Bescor.

Benefits seem to be:

Cheap price,
Runs off of AAA batteries.

I bought the VIDLed,, it's alright. It is very light (in weight). But I do suggest getting the WarmLED (3000k), I called the guys who make this and they said that it would be smarter to get the 8000k and be able to knock it down. Bad idea. It still has some pop to it, but after I have to put 2 gels on it, it does take away some of the power.

But all in all, I love it. It is dimmable and I have never ran out of the battery that you can buy with it. There is also an adapter so that you can use one of your cameras spare bricks.

Go with the WarmLED and you're golden for weddings.
