Leading Publication for Production Professionals Gets More Portable

(Los Angeles, California--May 13, 2011) CreativeCOW.net (Communities of the World), the online peer-to-peer support community for media production professionals in film, broadcast, and related fields has added yet another platform for its industry-leading content: the iPad.

CreativeCOW.net serves over 1.5 million visitors every month, many of which have now extended their usage to portable media devices, such as the Apple iPhone and iPad. However, the additional printed content found in Creative COW Magazine was inaccessible. The new iPad platform makes Creative COW Magazine content far more available and convenient for the publication’s digital users.

“Because our readership is so web and digital platform savvy, both on creativecow.net and also through our Apple iTunes podcasts, making the print magazine available through an iPad app was the next logical step,” said Creative COW CEO, Ronald Lindeboom. “As a publication that serves a rapidly changing technological landscape, it makes sense to reflect that onto our own business to the benefit of our users.”

The Creative COW iPad application can be downloaded via iTunes and has all of the content found in the print copy of the magazine in a mobile friendly format. The publication can be found on iTunes here: http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/creative-cow-magazine/id427305124?mt=8&ls=1
