Industry’s Most Read Publication Strengthens Editorial Staff

(Los Angeles, California--March 14, 2011) CreativeCOW.net (Communities of the World), the online peer-to-peer hub for media production professionals in film, broadcast, and related fields is expanding the capacity of its editorial coverage with the addition of Debra Kaufman, one of the entertainment and post industry’s most respected journalists. Debra will serve as Creative COW Magazine’s new Associate Editor, working closely with Editor-in-Chief Tim Wilson and Publisher Ronald Lindeboom on all aspects of editorial content, as well as authoring her own in-depth industry analysis and coverage.

Debra Kaufman has covered entertainment technology & post production for over 20 years, focusing on entertainment technology and has formerly served as West Coast Editor of Film & Video magazine and Editor of DI Studio. She is the founder and editor of MobilizedTV.com, an online newsletter focused on multimedia content on mobile devices.. Debra’s celebrated career has also seen her articles published in The Hollywood Reporter, Film & Video, Studio Monthly, Broadcast Engineering, Post Magazine, Wired, The Los Angeles Times, The New York Times, American Cinematographer, Variety and many others. She has spoken on and moderated panels for numerous trade shows including NAB, NAPTE, the Hollywood Post Alliance Tech Retreat, Cinegear Expo, NXTStage, HD Expo/Creataspehere, and venues such as the Sundance Institute. She is also a member of the Academy of TV Arts & Sciences interactive peer group.
