I'm thinking the Search Engine for After Effects is down or wonky.

I searched for "wheat" and "text" (because I know he had text stuff)and blank for Search Term, with Rick Gerard as Author and get nothing. Time Frame: All.

I was looking for a neat solution to grass blowing in the wind, Rick created with Displacement Maps, but get nothing. Is Rick lost to us?

Is there a better place to report this stuff?

Try searching for wheat and text without the author.

http://forums.creativecow.net/search.php?q=wheat+text&a=&f=&o=f&t=all

The author field looks at the login name not necessarily the persons name. Yours is "yikesmikes" -

I tried searching for "Rick Gerard" in the author and got nothing so try using his login handle instead.

Hope this helps.

Abraham

I didn't understand that the post you are looking for is an older post that has been archived. I understand and will fix the problem. Thanks for calling it to our attention.

For older posts (before 2005) you can use the archive search at
http://forums.creativecow.net/archive_search.php

Here's the link to what you're looking for yikesmikes
http://forums.creativecow.net/archive_search.php?q=wheat&a=Rick+Gerard&f=&o...

Thanks for bringing this to our attention.
