Please advise - Can't Delete P2 Files
on Feb 13, 2013 at 7:06:10 pm

I have used P2 for a few years, and I routinely copy the contents folder and lastclip.txt to a new folder on my RAID, and when the project is over and backed up, I delete these folders. Until now.

As of two projects ago, all P2 cards I've copied cannot be moved to the trash - the contents of all the folders in all the cards/folder are locked. I have drilled down thru permissions and there is no reason this files should still be locked.

They were even edited - that is were assets - in different projects one edited on FCP7 and one PP6 so they don't even have that in common.

I can't even unlock the individual files - of which there are too many to unlock manually - because the lock check box is checked but greyed out on each one. And like I said, I have given everyone, administrator or myself as user (redundant) read and write permission from hierarchically from top to bottom, but the contents of the folders are still locked.

Anyone know how to unlock and delete these files?
