1. Don't need to feed your monitor into the system.
2-5 - you have it right.

You're feeding video signal from the beta deck in and out of the edit comp via the AJA.

The DVCAM deck though you can feed via firewire into the comp.

Run the Beta Deck and the AJA and the comp audio into the mixer.
