That's what I meant with "Optimized" :)

It's a veeeery relative word.
In Formula 1 slicks are "optimized" if the weather is fine, if it starts raining you have to replace them. That was the same in Greece many years ago with just normal cars.

I agree that choosing the word "Optimized" is not a good choice and does lead to confusion or wrong hopes.
On another forum there was somebody who set a de-interlace filter to his x/yi files to convert them to x/yp format with double frame rate for edit. Once done he clicked optimized media and nothing changed. He expected that once he changed the settings the optimized media will follow his settings.
