Well, FWIW, it's quite useful for moving tiny chunks of of a piece, like in a tv spot/trailer montage as well. :-) I find rough cutting as connected clips, and then slamming chunks down to the primary for fine tuning to be a really flexible and fast way to cut. X isn't perfect but, now that I'm at the point where i don't have to think about how it works, it's really a pleasure to use.
