Export Settings
on Sep 12, 2017 at 10:21:19 pm

I just completed my first sequence with Adobe Premier. ( I have used Sony Vegas for many years... I might go back if I can't figure this thing out!)

My sequence was made up of UHD 3840x2160 clips. (taken from a small Sony RX100V). The sequence is about 10 minutes. I want to export it to play on a Ipad. ( With another export for BluRay). I have watched many tutorials, but still am not clear on what the best settings should be. Can anyone help here?

I am also confused on making settings for the Sequence... If I plan on exporting everything in 1080... do I set my sequence setting to 1080p even though I am using UHD clips?

I am doing a export now as I write this for my 10 minute sequence. It has been encoding now for about 1 and half hours and it is only 37% done on first pass!!!

Thanks for any advice you can give!
